2. Andover

The picturesque market town of Andover has a lot to offer. With a bustling town centre and good transport accessibility, homeowners could buy a three-bedroom, semi-detached house, or period cottage, for the average price of £296,000.

 

3. Mangotsfield

Next on the list is Mangotsfield, an old miners’ town that sits between Bristol and the south Cotswolds. Properties in the area range from traditional stone houses to early and mid-twentieth century properties and modern developments. 4. Middlewood

The average property costs around £238,364.

 

7. Tilehurst

Other hotspots include Tilehurst, a popular commuters’ town in the suburbs of Reading that has great access to the city centre and direct rail services to London. With the average asking price currently standing at £257,706, the area hosts a variety of properties modern and traditional.

 

8. Trowbridge

For the same price, the county town Trowbridge has a rich industrial heritage and provides a great base to explore the historical region of Wiltshire with landmarks such as Avebury and Stonehenge.
